Yeah looking for a newer patrol more like a 4.8 gu found some nice ones with less than 200000km have to get them pass the boss

Thanks guys. There's a couple that are on gas and I am dubious about duel fuel honestly. For me I always believed on either straight gas or straight fuel. Dunno
Never owned one but after seeing the issues the duel fuelers have with tuning and engine wear I'd be straight petrol any day of the week.
In saying that. Is a 4.8 harder to turbo compared to the efi 4.5??

Don't honestly know mate there's a couple of turbo 4.8 over here but they get snapped up real quick
Regardless, you don't need to bother. It goes well as it is. I'm sure out of UAE they do all sorts to these engines, but if you want it as a daily and well performing weekend machine 4.8 is already excellent. Just not gonna tour as easily as a deiesel to the middle of nowhere. Depends on your usage profile I guess. Even taking into account fuel, the price for a good 4.2 TD in a GU is so much more that it will buy you a lot of fuel. Would I prefer the diesel? Probably, but can I afford it? Nup
I loved mine, but have to admit I was only paying 15c per litre in fuel.
