Looking for a cheap retractable awning (<100). Doesnt have to be new but needs to work well. Ideally around south west brisbane

Been thinking of doing this myself is grab a piece of 25x25x2 RHS and pop rivet 2.5mtrs of sail track to it.
You'll need 3 Rhino racks or similar, get someone to sew a bit of 6mm rope into one side of a tarp.
There's your tarp two corner poles and some pegs and rope its done, bonus is it folds down to nothing
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Yeah I did. I know the bad stories about tigerz and like the idea of sail rails but poles+tarp and getting it all up to standard makes it a bit of work and money as well. And in the end i dont think it will pack as nicely as an awning. Time will tell if it was the right decision

Haha yeah dec is crazy. No rush though, if it doesnt work in dec we will just do the electrical work it in jan :-)

I've got a tigers awning and it's been used many times in the last 2 years and held up fine

I'll see what I can work out I'd rather do it during the day that's for sure, not an issue in jan though
