Surly you could make a tank to fit behind middle seats td?
Leave more usable floor space for other things?
    Cheers

If plastic taste is an issue it can be totally removed using a pump & a carbon filter.

As far as tanks go, try talking to Mick at Award Tanks. He’ll make you one to your own design & measurements, & it will likely cost you no more than an off the shelf one from other manufacturers. He’s a good bloke to deal with, & makes good tanks. He also does a range of ’standard sizes’ which are slightly cheaper again. All food grade polypropylene - no taste.

My one for the pod, 880 x 760 x 250, (about 167 litres) with two fillers, two outlets, a breather + fittings cost me $320 plus 60 something for delivery two years ago. Has a double skinned top & is well baffled, very strong, I spent a fair bit of time kneeling & sitting on it when doing the pod fit out.

Thanks Cuppa thats a fair price for sure, water will be mainly cooking and washing ,
not a fan of those triangle ones that clip to the cargo barrier. I might even put one into the 1/4 panel if they make
them for patrols. 55 ltrs will be fine for me, gravity feed flow is fine its not a race to fill the kettle eh.
I might pressurize it who knows.

IF I was going to make one it would fit beside the Engel and rear seat, you need to see the way I have things

I forgot you don't run draws.
    Yea. Then why not?
Sure it'll be a bit more expensive but it'll be what you want.

I think I'll stick with the bladder, then I can remove when not needed

Been there since before the Simpson trip and is wrapped in a blanket. The kids walk on it no probs. I gave never heard it slosh around. It is about half full at the moment.

I have not drank out of it at all so can't comment on taste. I never wanted it for drinking though.

$24 4l/min pump off eBay with auto pressure off and self prime. Also the $15 carling switch.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

If it tastes like crap surely its not good for you to use it for cooking.
