    55 litre water bladder

    hi me again as I'm down sizing my gear so I can travel as light as I can.
    I was thinking of buying one of these bladders for across the rear passenger floor.
    Has anyone had any experience with them? I have a 55 Dolium plastic tank in my trailer,
    but that will stay with the trailer when I sell it.
    Things I'd like to know is does the water taste like plastic etc.

    Yes I have a 60lt in the rear footwell. I have set it up semi permanent through a 12v pump and permanent tap mounted to the rear small door. Running water on demand.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Inlaws have a poly tank. 55l which fits in the middle row foot well.
    Being poly it's made to be at the bottom of the pile so you have piece of mind when packing around it.
    I'll try find more info.

    Sorry. It's only 40 but unsure if they do bigger.
    Called a boab. This is it here.

    It's not cheap. But won't break

    I got the 100L one and sits behind front seats, also have two kids and it sits inside a canvas bag, no problems yet with it.

    Have looked at those bladders a few times, they seem like a good option and keep the weight nice and low too.

    I took the same bladder as Darren on the Simpson trip. Mine is less fancy though just gravity feed.
    Worked well, but tastes crap! Lol good for cooking and cleaning but not for drinking.

    I use one of these, 55l, on the floor behind the front seats. The advantage it has over a bladder is the lack of that awful plastic taste, and it is more robust in my opinion.
