We camped at otooles flat Friday and Saturday night, it is like Talbotville in that it's a very large, open camp ground and unfortunately it attracts wanker, using chainsaws at 12am and pumping music until 4am...

Only noticed some damage when we got home. Not sure why this happened.

Hoping to do it again, but going up, this time. Also hoping to do Blue Rag in 4/5 weeks time.[/QUOTE]

That damage is typical of Land cruisers I take it you have a rear locker fitted, to prevent it happening
again drill out all the studs and up grade to 12mm studs and cups off a later say 78 troopy,
no more broken studs if you cant do this work I may know a shop that can help you

Yeah, miles of bush and the bikes have to scream up and down the main road...
But it is fun to sit back and watch the soft-cock campers set up.. One bloke was trying to set up his awning and it was bolted upside down on the car !! Funny.

No rear locker... The 60 doesn't even have a snorkel ! But thanks for the info. I'll pass it on.

We did not have motorbikes... They are not allowed at O'Tooles!
I bet they just zoom up and down in a straight line and never even see 3rd gear? Hahaha wankers!
