Thread: Custom number plate on renewal of old plates.

    Just curious why this happened?


    My original plates on the gq (beginning with E and old green garden state) were a bit shabby and being the anal symmetrical bloke I am I wanted the slimline to mount in the centre of the bar where the deluxe bar has the mounts, but enough room for the fairlead and not restricting air to radiator.

    Long story short I got sent the new plates and they have been sent as custom plates, custom plate letter of ownership and have nothing else on the plate...i.e. no "place to be" or "stay alert" etc.

    Why?

    Epic question I know...lol

    I had to match the same colour so the standard plate was issued for rear as below.

    Yeah you're probably right, just surprised they didn't stamp the usual statements on the standard sized rear plate.
