Seeing the temp gauge over half way. Have only been driving it to the station and back about 12 km return per day the last 2 months. Had to go a bit further today and while stopped at the lights the temp kept raising up to about 3/4. Once started driving quickly went back to its normal spot just under half. There was a cool breeze today. Once home had a good look around and noticed the fan has cracks around it. I have ordered a new one, but not 100% sure that this will fix the problem, could be that the clutch is not completely engaging? If that doesn't fix it I will check rad cap, then thermostat. After that I think it will need a bit more digging around. Hopefully not......

I'm sure you know this but don't let it overheat!!!! I didn't catch mine in time and now a month later I'm up for a new head/gasket

Not a chance mate. Been there before.
This is a good time to remind everyone to check their cooling system, the warmer months are on the way.

Must have run over some sort of grease or some s#it, and the tyre sent it flying all over the side of the car. Can't wash/hose it off, degreaser don't work, if I try and wipe it wet or dry, it just smears even more... And to make things worse my son walked out and touched it and now it's all over him...
