G'day folks, have had a Patrol for a few years now.

G,day fellas and thanks for the welcome. No doubt I will need some advice/help soon.

First Patrol a 1996 GQ 2.8 Turbo Diesel RX with snorkel, bull bar, Warn winch, and Hayman-Reese tow bar stolen from driveway January. 2011.
Current Patrol is a 2008 GU 3L CRD DX model ex NSW Police with bull bar, Warn winch, driving lights, Safari snorkel, dual batteries, Nissan tow bar, Drifta drawer unit.
Both are great vehicles although the 2.8 was a bit sluggish and the 3L is a bit thirsty.
So far have been to North Qld, Darwin, The Kimberley, The Centre, SA, Snowy Mountains and outback NSW
We tow a Pioneer Argyle camper trailer.

I shouldn't tell you, - as we Victorians like to have the tracks to ourselves, but you should look at planning a trip through the Vic High Country for some magnificent 4WDriving too......
