    can anyone identify this relay

    Found it under the compartment under the cover behind the battery in my gq up against the right wall. I think it has something to do with my spotties however no one seems to have one or know exactly what is or does

    Yep it would more than likely be a spot relay.

    Lol. So the lights didn't work when the relay was connected either?

    Check the relay off a jump pack or just a couple of tails direct from your battery, does it function? Assuming its your spotties, chase back the wires from your spotties, does the wire go to this relay? Got a pic of it in place?
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    They are cheap enough, buy one and replace it. I bet your problem is then fixed.

    Follow the wires back from your spotlights. Do they go to this relay?

    Have you checked that the fuse for the spotlights is not blown or the fuse holder is not corroded? The spot light fuse will more then likely be connected directly to the positive battery terminal.
