I had a freshly sharpened knife stuck in a tree and I was undoing a knot in a rope when my hand slipped and hit the blade....ouch blood pissing out everywhere. A trip to hospital and 4 hrs later I was back on the rums Bloody stupid accident

You would know if you have nerve damage if you prick below the cut it would feel like someone barely touching you, I've got it down the left side of my left leg from a climbing accident

With your finger if it's a sensation nerve it more feels like electric shock through your hand of you bump it or poke near the wound.

I cut mine close to 10 years ago and even after they stitched all the nerves back together I still have no feeling in my left index finger.

if I stick a needle lower than the cut in my foot it it feels like Im drawing on my foot lol
