How far are you going?
as far as wickham TPC,about 2 hrs south of port hedland..get there in 2 days if I do about 12 hrs a day in the car..did it last year in a day and a half with kids.. and towing camper but leaving that at home this year

Not today but on Sunday, last day of our camping we all jumped in the car (wife and 2kids) for a quick spin after it rained all sat and very heavy sat night and I drove down a muddy hill ( 15 meters about 35-45degree) that I have driven many times before in the wet and dry. This time I picked the ruts i would follow and the front right went down a wombat hole according to plan only this time the rear end decided to over take us! The front right stayed in the hole and the car pivoted on that tyre doing a 360 turn in a matter of seconds sliding down the hill uncontrollably in reverse after turning, let's just say I would have put $$$$ on the car rolling over and I have a very muscular ass now as a result.
Needless to say I will never be going off road with my hwy tyres again lol

Scared the crap outta me! Considering id driven it so many times with and without the camper trailer it kind of becomes routine and you dont take it seriously. Bit of a wake up call lol
