One thing that I dislike about the ARB Bull Bar ( Modifications by me )

One thing that has always annoyed me with the ARB Bull Bar, and possibly various other brands as I have only ever owned an ARB Bar, is the finish between the end of the bar return and the body

It has always annoyed me that mud, dirt and water flicks up into the gap between the bar and the body ..... normally only noticeable after you have cleaned it and gone for a drive

Here is my solution for the GUIV onwards.

I always ask for the Standard Bumper Bar to be returned, as you never know when you may use it, and this solution uses parts left on the old bumper.
For this solution, if you only want to prevent some of the mud flicking around off the tyres, you only need to keep the factory Left and Right Side Infill Panels that connect the Standard Bumper to the Body, and the factory Screws to re-attach, and you can ditch the rest of the old bumper.

Other tools used were a Heat Gun, some Foam Tape, a Hacksaw, and a Marker and Straight Edge/Ruler to draw a line.

    Picture of Standard Infill Panel.

I measured the distance from the standard mounting points to the edge of the Bull Bar, and found that the Standard Plastic Piece did not line up with the edge of the bar, and needed a bit of flattening with the Heat Gun, equally across both the existing moulded fold lines.

After Heating and Re-Moulding, and once I was happier with the shape and fit, I proceeded to measure, mark and trim the edges of the infill piece to suit the Bull Bar

I have placed the trimmed pieces on top of the panel to give you an idea of how much was trimmed.

Here are the pieces as shown where they would be cut off the original panel.

Once you are happy with the shape, it is just a matter of placing in the piece in its location and screwing in the factory screws that you kept from the original removal process.....

Totally unnecessary, but I stuck a little bit of foam tape between the bar and the plastic, to minimise vibration and to assist with cleaning....

I hope that this gives you some ideas.....

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
