I have those allied rims on the black I reckon they are a neat looking wheel. I have had the polished ones before and they are a bastard to keep clean. The black still look ok when they are dirty where as the polished ones just looked old. But as George said it's really up to you and what you like.

Too many choices.... With regards to tyres protruding past the flare, does the bulge of the side wall sticking out be considered illegal? The way my current tyre sits, it's got abit of bulge which would be the first part to stick out before the actual tread would show. If that makes sense?
My dilemma is the allied wheels come on 0 or neg 20 offset, and the neg 20 might just show on the outside, just...
IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Nice, very tidy bus. I used to have an au xr8. I miss it dearly but I do like my maverick.

I miss the v8 roar, but then maybe one day I'll drop a LS1 into the patrol, then ill be set.

Have decided to get the allied thunder rims in black. Polish would look bling and nice but id have to constantly polish them to keep them nice and oxidised alloy does look sh1t!

Local mob up here wanted over 350 per rim with over a 2 month wait. Rang around and a guy in melb will deliver at 245 a rim. Happy days!
IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

New wheels! Woo! -20 offset, still within the guards, just. Looks so much better in person, pics don't do justice.

Came with centre caps, not sure if I should fit them or not.
IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Looks great.
    I'd probably fit the caps.
It'll finish the wheels off nice.

It's a mostly road car anyway. Lol
    No offence if it's not.

I tell you what, I've been considering swapping to -22 offset wheels for mine and having seen the pics here, now I'm as keen as mustard.
    Looks heaps better.

I'm almost tempted to swap to - 13 to keep my tyres inside the guards, but the 22 looks so much better... It's a cruel world
