Only got the cold side done today!!!

I won't lie, frigging nightmare job getting this to work!!!

I had to change my original idea but it worked out in the end.

From the intercooler side, 90 bend to a long 45 then another 90 bend up to the wrap around piping but it was a shit of a job to be honest.

I had the pipes nicely sprayed and scratched the hell out of it taken it all on and off a hundred times to cut bend warp etc.

    Anyways...job done!

Just used a reducer for the standard inlet manifold elbow for now until money permits for an upgraded system.

Did I mention this intercooler is ridiculously big!!?

Going to be a fun job getting the grill to work!

Hot side should be ten times easier!

It's a real crap double s shape to get that in. Safe to say there was a lot of cursing and frustration which may have had led to some of the scratches...lol

Looking good AB, it would be interesting to see before and after Dynos of something like this just to see what you get out of the box before you can ramp up the boost.
I don't know which way I will go in front or top mount when I get around to the TD conversion. I know front is more effective but top I have the room.

Probably not a great deal mtae with the HT18, I'll see how much I can wind it up but for the interim I'm keen to see the EGT differences.

Your pyro's were really low anyway, that was evident driving back to your house from Yarra Glen.

Yeah they aren't bad for a non IC set up hey...

Comparing Winnies though was an eye opener on our trip though.

Hopefully get time today to finish off the hot side and start working on trying to mount this thing and get cracking on the grill!!!!

Ill go for a drive up to kinglake to compare the difference.

That's that long ass hill that keeps going and going.

In 4th I always hit 500 near the top as it started to lag near the end and I used to drop it back to third a few hundred metres before the top so that'll be a good comparison test hill.
