Matty...sorry bud but I will probably have a hundred questions for you!!

I can run 3" on both sides which I know is useless on the ht18 but I know I will be getting a larger turbo and pump in the near future. I also have the 3" mandrel bends from the wrx ic and they will work a treat.

My question is will this be ok for the interim until
I can afford to upgrade it all?

3" will be fine for the iterim mate. Certainly won't hurt it that's for sure I dare say it but I don't think the lag will be noticeable. Will you have it running today?

No chance unfortunately mate. I just bought a 90 bend and some hose and only just got the cold side piping cut and ready to go.

I'm back to work tomorrow, holidays are over so I'm limited to weekends only now...

I just need another 90 bend and cold side is done. Ill get the extra parts I need this week and next weekend ill go again!

Pretty excited now that I'm confident in the paths...lol

Yeah even it's not as hard as everyone thinks is it?

Even without adding more fuel you should see a small benefit mostly in torque then you can pretty much max your current pump and enjoy .

It's really not that bad hey...lol. Just need to think about it for a while thats all...I just sat back last night for a couple of hours to ensure the pathways will work and to best utilise the bends I have so there is now a solid plan!

The only tricky part to all this is once It's done the plastic guard will need a lot of cutting to get it back on. I wanted to just cut the black fins out of the grill but the bends coming out of the intercooler (bottom left and right) will stick past the grey part of the plastic grill and will look very mean, very custom and very inquisitive to onlookers that I do not want...

I'm just going to get this installed and maybe put some spaces on whatever I need to cut out on the grey plastic part of the grill to cover over the pipes, respray the entire grill in the same colour to make it all look standard just leaving the intercooler (black) hanging outside (30mm) the grill.

Slightly concerned about the High Mount not fitting but the entire intercooler will not exceed past the original Nissan badge so it should be ok.

I have done a last minute change and moved the entire intercooler up 25mm as I know the high mount will need room near the bottom of the bar where the drum comes up...

Should be ok....lol. I'm committed now!!!
