Yeah, no way he'd shoot everyone......more like car bomb.......Hahahahahahaha.

(If anyone in law enforcement reads the above......it is a joke)

I all seriousness, I guess VCAT probably get all sorts of loonies threatening to go postal for real over shizzle like the next door neighbours fence. So they're just protecting their arses.
But that would have freaked me right out.....bizarre.

I had an episode years ago where some clown cut me off and pushed me into the 2 oncoming lanes of traffic on Punt Rd in peak hr while I was driving my Telstra van. When I got out and knocked on his window to express my displeasure at his attempt to kill me, the coward was cringing in his seat and wouldn't open his window to speak to me......so I yelled at him asking "Who was he trying to kill, him or me?" Well fark me if I didn't have the cops and work on my arse a day or two later for making threats to kill. Fortunately they believed my version of events but it pissed me off that the turd made that story up after nearly killing me. It was a lesson learned though, in watching what I say......even when I'm at my most "excited"......people can easily misunderstand and then you're potentially in a world of pain.

Glad to hear you had a good result mate.

Idiot I was dealing with on the phone just wasted a lot of the police time.

Get home from work, and the wifey tells me our main heater is not firing up. Under the roof, double storey house, it's a farkin pain in the rear to get to. The bloke replaced the ignition pack only last year, and he cant be here till farkin monday. Small child at home, it's not fun, had to run to good guys and buy a temporary alternative...
Pretty pissed, but there are people far worse off so I should shut up now.

I had a new windscreen fitted to the GUIV today and I can tell you that seal is pointless. It sits on the screen. If you remove the slotted panel between the bonnet and the screen that seal just screws down. The fitter today said that some guys remove it completely. The water off the screen is not channeled by that seal in any way.

    Happy days!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

If its gas ducted then turn it off at the plug for 10 minutes and turn back on. Google your system and search for the reset function, it will be a combination of switches on your remote. Good luck.

Thanks Daz. That clarifies that bit as I was getting a tad concerned.

It's gas ducted, sitting under roof. No mains switch for the unit it's self, it's just a part of one of the house circuits, already tried turning everything off then on. No remote for it. It's just triggered by a thermostat upstairs.
I have to drop the temperature so thermostat triggers it off, then raise it so it triggers on again, in order to see if it will fire up. 9/10, it doesn't. I can hear the ignition pack running trying to light it, but no bingo.
