Ive a feeling whoever wrote that story actually knows little about the car, from what I can see, it does not have any rust or damage that has not been deliberately caused by man, it looks like the first pic has just been taken long after the project was already started, not at the beginning at all ?

And look, he must have stripped all that foam off near the end to wire up the headlights (haha)
Someones got skills and patience though, just not the author !
My old man used to do that sort of stuff for work. Very impressive.
