Found the steel rod that runs to the top latch on the barn door is a source of annoying sounds and vibrations. Fixed it with some foam with sticky backing stuck on the inside of the plastic cover that goes over it.
IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Haha it's well worth it in the end. My mate took me for a spin in his brand new hyundai something or other and it felt noisy and tinny and just awful. Heaps of road noise. My patrol feels like sitting in a warm and cozy log cabin with the fire going.
IMO and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Engine oil and all filters changed , drained and flushed coolant system / new coolant and a grease . Polished the alloy bullbar and removed the ST stickers from the quarter panels as they were looking badly weathered.
The price of excellence is dicipline , the cost of mediocrity is dissapointment .

Nothing, 1/2 way through a brake upgrade and replacing the rear slaves I started yesterday.

But had a big family breakfast that lasted till 12.30, 12 adults and 2 brand new babies.

Cleaned up, played with the dog, looked at the Patrol and had a snooze.

After all that I watched a movie with my lady love and cooked her and baby girl number 2 a Thai peanut curry dinner.

    I love lazy Sundays!
    Cheers
    Macca

Re-done some wiring on internal switches, re-positioned a few things, then the rain started messing with my head, and as i dont have a carport and trol dont fit it the garage, that was the end of the day.
Sat inside with heater on and watched 4WD TV all day!

Can of Wax and grease remover and razor blade. I took my side common rail stickers off a while ago and this done the trick.
