The alloy joints that hold the strings together can fail.. And a local club can confirm this as it happened at our club on a cheaper bow..

But this was a second hand bow and history unknown so just keep an eye on em..
    Cheers

This is my faithful OLD GLORY by Bowtech pulls 73lb, i use a mixture of Easton power flight 360 and 400 spine carbon arrows tipped with either 100gr ribtecks or 100 gr black stumps that's for goats rabbits and deer and for pigs I use port oxford cedar shafts tipped with tusker Aztecs only because I found hunting pigs with a heavy arrow and heavy heads I have got better penetration... But that's just my opinion.

I finally got to put 30 odd arrows down range. Loved it..
Hit some serious changes to make though.. First up I need to reduce my draw length now with the release aid.
Next it adjust the peep as it's to low.
    Then shoot in again.

    Was great fun though..
    Cheers

You should be able to slide the serving then the peep on the string and do as growler said over and over till its in the right spot then re tighten serving close to the peep.

You can get metal jackets that slide inside the arrow to up the weight as well so it's not just tip heavy.
