    Sub Tank Issue

hello all, I have just purchased my first Patrol, a 03 Gu 4.8l, having an issue with the sub tank button and after searching and finding out about the transfer operation etc etc, mine still doesn' t transfer, its like the sub tank button is dead. It does nothing, the Sub tank light comes on with reds before stating, then goes out when engine starts

Q, should there be a light in the button when it has been pressed and operating ???? could someone please Help me

    kind regards Streetsy

Yes my Sub tank switch has a light on it that stays on while the sub tank is transferring and then turns off automatically when complete. The transfer is very very slow.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so.
That will reset the Sub Tank Computer.

If it faults out again then you will need to read the code as per the service manual.

If there is no code then you can try extra earths from the tank to the chassis/body
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
