The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Yeah... tell me about it

I got my truck back last week with all the new bar work done, Brembo brakes fitted, under tray tool boxes fitted etc etc.
Finished the Driving Lights, Cabin wiring, HF and other Comms work yest.
Start on the Mud flaps, 2nd battery and Winch wiring today.
Gotta try and finish before Friday when the new camper arrives as I'll need to stop working on the Patrol and fit that out before I leave.

... might have to pack a 3 boxes of cable ties, 20 rolls of duct tape and a good sense of humour
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

    What an awesome idea...

delete 3 boxes of cable ties, 20 rolls of duct tape and good sense of humour
insert 3 slabs of beer, 20 steaks and a stock whip

Yep me too, the troll was in all last week fixin the small bits and pieces, gearbox mount, wheel bearings replaced, swivel hub rebuild, wire the solar panel in, fitted the tent again today and started sorting out all the bits to take. It goes back to the mechanic in the morning to finish wiring in the solar controller, fit the travel buddy into a removable frame so I can mount it on the twin floor or remove it easily. Then just double check it all before going to the auto sparky to fit the rear power panel and check the electrics that I have done, I have to go this way as I'm just running out of time to do it myself.
