My Wife!
That is all.
Cheers,

mudnutette has cracked it with school and is taking her bat and ball to find a job in the big smoke. Tried to tell her how rough it is for youngsters without a VCE to get a decent job anywhere, but she has her blinkers on and is as stubborn as her Dad.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
Not Good to hear Craig.
Seriously mate, dunno if she's heading to Melbourne or Adelaide but unless she has VCE she will most likely not get a job (Melbourne is no place to be jobless). It is a such a competitive job market that unless you know someone or have completed VCE......put it this way, even at my youngest and most stupid I wouldn't be doing it.
Even apprenticeships are hard to come by ATM and that also still involves some school.

Yeah, Drew, banging head ATM. Been there, said all that, but she just won't listen. At least she has a place to stay, with close rellies.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
In a really close tipping comp at work, had Brisbane down all week to beat Carlton but lost my nerve this morning and changed my tip to play it safe! Should of stayed with my gut pick grr..

What can I say, she'll have to do more schooling and/or training one way or the other.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
This bit sounds good. If she's at least gonna be looked after, it might not be so bad. Maybe she just needs a bit of space and time to see for herself that it ain't easy? That might be the motivation she needs to do some more study or whatever it is to prepare her for what's next? I think it is pretty tough on young people to know what to do, especially now that any old work doesn't seem to be as easy as it used to be. Before you could just get something for a job. It was usually crap and good motivation to do something more to prepare for something better. Hopefully either with or without work she'll come to find something to motivate her![]()
Thanks, Cameron
