trying to fit the tyres in the guards

    gday guys
i know this is probably been up a few times but after searching through a few threads i just wanted some answers all bundled together to compare. I only just got my 89 Maverick and it has 33x12.5 mickey t mtz's fitted onto 15x10 -44 rims and they stick out way past the guards. it has the good ol garden edging flares on it aswell and they are still about 2 inches out past the plastic. I want to change the rims so they will fit under the guards to try and keep it a bit more legal so what wheel set ups are you guys running with 33x12.5 tyres? maybe even some pics woyld be great if you have them.
    thanks in advance
    Steve

I have 33x12.5 on -22 rims and I have the factory fibreglass flares, it's sticks out a tiny bit. I need to think of something to do for flares as I've tried Bunnings garden edging and hated the look.

Go to your local tyre shop get a

    PCD: 6/139.7

    OFFSET: 13N (i.e -ve13)

Is your best bet, I've played with alot of offsets and that seems to be the best.

Do you know any munufacturers of rims with that offset? It seems to be a bit of a phantom number and the local guys in my area cant get any. They only seemnto have the -44 offset ones I already have
