    Maybe but everything still works...luckily.
    Im wondering how much better the welds would have been if I mig welded using gas. As welding the thinner sections still blew holes. But after a few grinds, then rewelds it all came up pretty good.

    Get a tig set up. Easier to use, puts less heat into the work, cleaner weld, excellent strength and uses less gas.
    My advice is: not to follow my advice.

    Too late bud as I just bought the mig. I need a crap load of new tools, BA can vouch for this, lol, so mabye down the track I will.

    Hoping my sender unit is going to be ok for the aux tank!

    Being testing it for half an hour now, it definitely reads resistance when moving the float but It's not steady, jumps around and sometimes goes back to the original reading from when float is at bottom although float is at top.

    All connections seem fine and is clean on the sender slider reading thinngy, not bent and actually looks in pretty good condition but it worries me.

    Not sure what to do as it does read changes in float movement....Bugger!!!!

    I'll wait until I'm finished. Well, atleast to the painting part. I then will start a DIY thread for others to see how I did it.
