It actually "does" cover genuine maxtrax Troy, it just they are the version one, don't think treds where around when it was written 6 years ago ?

Oh ok they just looked like the ebay rip off jobs as I didn't read about them I was looking at the industrial flooring and I think treds would be pushing it to be over 3 yrs

I think with any of these type recovery/traction aids, the main thing is to try not to wheelspin or youll friction burn the bloody lugs off

Correct, the problem is, most people that get stuck have little experience, so when you help them using "your" maxtrax, explaining to them to NOT spin the wheels, is often a waste of time, as they just dont know when their wheels are spinning anyway.

Thats what i love about a shovel, you can hand it to someone and tell them to start digging, pretty hard to wreck it no matter what they do.



I have little patience these days, ill stop to help "anyone", but...... i now always ask if they "want" my help , if they are slow to reply, i offer to walk away and do nothing, if they are a know it all or a smart arse, i walk away, dont need my gear wrecked for not so much as a thankyou

a mate has max tracks and when we/he stops to help someone with them it's I'll drive your car or no help with the max trax! that way they don't get ruined and to this day not one refusal!.
