    Help with Chassis Number and Weight for Rego

    I have a Y60. I love it. I smile every time I drive it. It is the only vehicle in Ireland that has roo bars and I get some funny looks. My problem is this, to test the beast here I need to find the chassis number and the axle weights. Without these I will no longer be driving, or happy. It is a 1992 TD4.2. wagon All help seriously appreciated. Thanks.

    From memory the Chassis number is on the left side chassis rail near teh front. The compliance plate may also have it?

    Can you put it on a Public Weigh bridge there? go to your local Transfer station of Tip and ask to put it on the bridge, you can then get a print out of Front and Rear axle weights.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
