I have taken the plunge and accepted that I simply do not have time to get my car ready for the Simpson trip.

Only 4 weekends and they are all taken up with family commitments, explorer Aussie expo and organising expo.

Safe to say I have officially bittern off too much!

Booked it in with Patrolapart to get it up to scratch.

This is the first time a skilled mechanic can look at my car...

They'll take one look I'm sure and say what have you done to your car you hack...lol

Well at least it's with some body that is reliable and not hacks themselves. Any mechanical work that I won't do myself will be done through them

yep me too AB im working 7 days a week till we go so i have mine booked in to get the finishing done so i can be sure its all ok.

Winnie, I need the slave cylinder done, some basic wiring fixing, look at speedo issue, service, check contamination in diffs, transfer, gearbox.

Fuse on left led ballast is melting, rotate tyres there's a few other things I can't remember.

I need a full look over everything as well.

Brake and power steering fluid.

Some rubbers are split, etc

I know it's all simple stuff but I simply do not have a spare day to knuckle down and do it all.

I am struggling to find time to do things myself. Normally I am home by 4pm but lately I have been getting home at 6 and it is dark and wet and I don't have a shed. I need to change the brake fluid badly.
I should be able to knuckle down and make a list of rubbers that need replacing, change fluids etc this weekend.
