It is but this part all bolts on to the same box pretty much so it could be possible to swap the tops over. The ratios are different in the 1st 3 gears though in the gu.

Taken the day off and have to repair exhaust and am waiting for a call bacl from 360 gearbox and at a quick mention they said $2950 ...... FARKK !!!!!!!!!
I am not 100% on that one mate but I thought they were the same box as both the petrol and diesel operate in near the same rpm range the petrol just goes to 6 where our diesel doesn't. It will be in the manual if you have time to look.Now am I right in that the TD42 also has different ratios???

Well I have finished with the exhaust... there were leaks everywhere.. had to pull off the tail pipe as it was leaking heaps from there.
The welding went well and never knew you could get welding rods as low as 2mm... great for these little jobs where thin metal is to be welded.
Will go for a drive after lunch and see if there is any difference with the smell in the car??
Well a strange thing happened.... I went up to JPC to speak to Mark about my car and ended up leaving it there and walking home.
It is getting a dyno run so all the guessing ends now hopefully.... a bit nervous actually.
