My Truck when switched to Gas always starts on Petrol and switches itself to Gas after warm up. Yours should do the same.

mine's manual switch over, need to start on petrol, but can immediately switch to gas, even when cold. It will start on gas if within about 30 mins of stopping a hot engine, but any longer I have to use petrol to start it.

Just tested the 4500 GU on Petrol and around town achieved 17.96 Litres per 100 K's.
Run it on Gas most of the time which is a damn lot cheaper than Petrol

Ran mine with the consult unit the other day to go pick up the kids - 19klm round trip and not overly stop/start as we are a bit out of the city, and I averaged 23.7 lph for the trip ... my heart nearly stopped!!! LOL

Nah, I don't think so. Is a b$tch to change to gas. But tank needs testing. Will get it all sorted when I get bigger tank

Depends when the LPG system was fitted Kat - mine doesn't even do the "pre-squirt" of petrol when starting on gas, so I have to start on petrol when cold, wait till it starts to warm and then switch to LPG - it was installed in 2007. Mine isn't gas injectors either.

So presquirt was post 07 ? I think mine was fitted 2000ish. I just start it on petrol out of habit. Will have all that looked into when I get tank done.

Not sure when they came in, but probably before or around that time - May 2007 mine went in (through previous owner) and it is a bit of a dinosaur now ...

Mine was 2001... On "LPG" it started and ran on gas, on "Petty" it started and ran on Petty. With LPG selected it even disabled the Fuel Pump as I split an injector feed line crush seal one day and Petrol spewed everywhere (scared crappola out of me, how it never flashed over I'll never know) left it on LPG and I drove it that way for a while till I got a chance to fix it.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
