Been like this all last week. Were off Thursday..
Roof rack is on.
Awning on..
Currently welding water tank up..
Nothing like a last minute rush..

I wish I was heading off this Thursday.... Oh well not long.

Funny I get lazier as time goes on with packing and prep... I use to bring the kitchen sink but lately I try to keep it to a minimum.

I remember before I was properly set up, I'd be forever forking around the night before setting up water tanks and stuff.....all last minute......used to drive me (and the wife) nuts......
These days most stuff is already packed and waiting to jet....
Really looking forward to getting up there.

Got another Prado driving mate and his family who look like they might come too....

I miss the days where I used the chuck the swag, esky and camp chair into the back of my sedan and I was set for the weekend... No I don't lol.
But yeah I'm still pretty lazy when it comes to packing. Bringing the tent this time so I'll be in comfort.

Yea my weekend did not go to plan and nothing was open.. So yea now under the pump..

And fark this tank has just cost me $100 in gas.. Anyway, do it once and do it right.

Bloody hope I know how to weld?? If not I just wasted a lot time and money lol..

Still gotta pressure test it, pickle it and install it..

I was hoping to pack some stuff this long weekend but George has my car till Tuesday fixing an oil leak from the back of the oil pump...

Tomorrow I will get out all my gear ready for the trip as I will not have time this coming week to pack.

I cant wait, I have spoken with Drew and am hoping to leave about 2.30pm on the Thursday but I am at the mercy of my wife and her work?
