    possible clutch problem

Just got back from a 3000Ks round trip with the caravan and since back noticed a grinding noise coming I think from the clutch but only at take of louder in reverse, once engaged good as gold. There is no slippage. No noise when depressing clutch when idling. Mounts look good. Would the belt tensioner be the culprit as when the weather is moist for a while now I have been getting a noise for the first 5Ks or so (Any other old car I would say it was a slipping fan belt). Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

yep zd30 going in on Monday. They think its the clutch but will check everything. Fingers crossed. Although the clutch has done 200,000Ks about half towing over 2 tons.

All fixed new clutch (single mass heavy duty ) rivets just touching and more hot spots then you can count also new complete tensioner total cost $3092.00. Thought price was reasonable. Any thoughts did I get gibbed.

Good to hear it is sorted.

Did you notice any difference driving the vehicle with the new clutch, flywheel?
