Just bought a Ridge Ryder Ultimate air compressor from supercrap on special for $168, also some 2 stroke to add to the diesel. Will see how it goes tomorrow.

Excellent buy clunk. Family friend took a chance and put one in his pajero. Went to simo, wa then back through the bite. 3 cars in convoy . his mates tjm compressor called it quits after 12 tire pumps. The rest of the trip his rydge rider kept all 3,cars inflated. Countless duty cycles and still going strong after 2 months on the road.

Edit: Just trying to say that sometimes, only sometimes, cheaper isnt bad.

They are a great compressor, but they do have a limited life. Mine was great for 12 months, now it wouldn't inflate a baloon.

Exactly, I've still got my $100 elcheapo no brand compressor, still works after 5 years, it's just a little slow now lol....... Thought I'd upgrade

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
