Yeah I'd say it's what most are selling made under the same roof!

That listing that Rickie posted for the rack, awning and mozzie net at $595 is an excellent price. Looks to be the same rack.

Count the cross braces, thats what is going to carry your load for a long time
I did not see the package deal. yes a good price for sure but i still dont like the rack. The one in his link is the bottom one of the two pics i posted.

Note that there is 1 cross joists between each foot vs 2 cross joists between the feet of the one you and i have. The Pinnacle Rack is a much much better rack. IMO..

From an engineering point of view spacing the cross joists closer together makes a massive difference to overall load capacity. There will be far less tendency for the load to bounce on the rack due to flex with the extra joists.

Imagine a House with floor joists spaced at 600 because you can versus spacing at 450 because you should. Economics puts them at 600, 450 will allow the flooring to feel far more solid and less likely to flex as you walk.

I like your link. Buy a quality awning with the money you save.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Actually MR TD they may be different by way of the amount of cross bracing which I didn't pick up at first!

Mine has the driving light mounts also.
