Hi everyone, I've owned a 1998 GU Patrol for about 8 months now and am very impressed with it's offroad capability. Having owned several IFS vehicles previously, I'll never go back now that I have experienced the beauty of such a capable, controlled suspension platform I have now experienced in the Patrol. Due to my limited budget, I bought a GU powered by the thirsty but reliable TB45E engine. It has a duel fuel setup, also utilising unleaded and LPG fuels. Other good bits include a 2" lift, duel batteries (one deep cycle), halogen spotties, 20" LED light bar, smart-bar bull-bar, custom rear bar for spare tyre and twin jerry cans, hot shower, winch and 33" muddies. I stumbled on the forum after seeking information regarding improved fuel economy. As such, I can't wait to have a look around.
