Bought this tent on the weekend and slept in it on Saturday night, love it so far.

Don't forget to water it down and scotch guard the seams ,
as for a tent you cant get a better tent IMO for ease of set up.
only down side is it takes up a bit of room.

Picture is of a 3 piece sand flag made from K-mart 13mm tent pole kit
I used to make solid 13mm fibre glass sand flags

Forthose who missed this there is a new poll for this trip
we know its tough out there and getting harder
this may be the last trip a lot of us might get to do

Yeah mate although we knew a lot of original people will pull out let's keep bumping this as a lot will miss this thread too indeed.

I'm still getting there, unfortunately the tax man hit me for 28k so it's a bit tight at the moment, if I hadn't already paid for my nieces wedding in Thailand next month I wouldn't be going there either. I am still hoping the cool weather will hit soon so I can get some money back in the bank, if at all possible I will be going I have put too much into getting ready for this trip.
