Gu patrol runnig rough on lpg
Hi all. New to this site and have a question for all.
Have LPG/PETROL and when engine is running on LPG it starts to run rough like it is not get the LPG through, it not running rough all the time just now and then, switch back to PETROL and it runs smooth again. You can smell gas when you stop after it has been running rough.
Any help would be helpful.... Jim
Hi Jim, I think the car is tuned for petrol , So try moving the distributer to left or right after you start it on LPG and see if that make a difference, but be4 you move the dizzie Mark a set point with a colour texter regards Alex

Gas likes it advanced ,so just before it Pings on petrol would be spot on,
Most gas problems are electrical so make sure your leads are clean and in good nick.
Retarded it will sound like a flat battery starting it

BP LPG can play havoc on some systems....
