    should i be worried

    hi all should i worry about some one welding plug on my exhuast today for the egt gage and they didnt disconect the battery so not happy i have always taken the battery off anything thats 12v when welding thats the first thing my old man told me when i started welding things many moons ago so i havent ever been worried about it

    Always disconnect battery has been my policy as well, but if it is still running and all the bits are working you are fine.
    Putting the earth next to the weld area on the exhaust might not be an issue, I really don't know.

    Yea it's a good practice to do..

    But if clamp was placed on the work you'll be pretty right.
    Your exhaust is sorta protected by rubber mounts and the expansion joints on the manifolds make for a difficult path.

    If you drove out your pretty much safe..
