    I had a 80 model hilux, and apart from the gutless 18R 2ltr petrol motor, bad fuel economy, 4 speed box, leaf sprung front and rear, no weight over the arse, More bog than metal, vinyl bench seat, no air con, etc what's not to love?
    GQ Snorkle Lockers front n rear

    I had an 82 Hilux before the GQ. Bloody loved it mate. Not a GQ by any stretch but great fun. Mine was on LPG. 18r

    If you buy it I have a set of factory manuals for the 18r. Would be willing to sell them to you.

    Leaf sprung strong arm steering gutless petrol lots of rust. Loved the rear window slider.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Well its a 32 year old car that has probably seen a hard life. the 4cyc is easy enough to work on and plenty of room to work. Its $1300! It will probably slog it out mate. I blew a head gasket on mine and fixed it myself in the driveway. sent th head for machining but thats all. Up until that moment i had never done an oil change unassisted. That was a long time ago

    Its $1300, it has a Tub for your tools and an engine and Rego Happy days. Your not buying a Keeper .
