Got my grinder / linisher combo and knife starting to take more shape

What timber is that? Stained ply?

What size knife is that?

Do they have any Wattle trees over here? Some of the ticker Wattle trees have big burls that, when dressed, are amazing for handles...

5" blade same size overall as the Buck 110. The wood is chocobola or similar spelling.

Need to finish this 1 off and munchkins as a matching pair.

No idea on wattle, huon pine wood be sweet but to pricey

This bad boy was delivered today, bugger me it has a thick blade, gonna take my time doing the scales and finishing this 1. Custom sheath will be made as well

This is the Watle tree wood. Not the best example but if you get the right piece, it can be stunning. I will see if I can get a couple of samples.

I think it was the ebay store Premium Knife Supply but will double check.

Ordered some brass rods for pins as I dropped my 110 kit knife and it separated.......:banghead::banghead::banghead:
