Been there a long time, that pic is about 8 years old. I remember climbing all over these when I was a kid in the early 60's, haven't deteriorated much either.

Its a flat windscreen british Blitz truck war surplus , desert Trucks had a
forward facing windscreen to stop glare in the sand dunes and giving their position away.

It's on the Newstead - Maldon Rd. on the left handside, you won't miss it and the bus will get in there no problem. Not sure if you can camp there but there will be camping in the area.
