ah my work he is done grasshopper let your journey begin, can never have enough knives,
just a matter of where to display the larger ones. I'm thinking of a display case from re cycled timber
to give it that 1860s feel/look, even burn on corner maybe
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Found this its exactly like my stacked handle find
That is almost (or actually is) identical to the first knife I was given as a kid! If memory serves, the handle is stacked leather? Even remember it having the same colours. Damned if I know what happened to it.... I think I broke the handle, throwing it at a tree, playing Daniel Boone!

LOL... You do know that if the war office cracks the shits, I coming over to live with you!

I always envisaged a timber clad room, with the knives displayed on the walls and stands around the room...

but a part of my family history. Then I have a file marked "Warranted steel"
mean the file was poured/forged I find it interesting others may find it boring

I love that era too... Some amazing technolodgical advances made but also some very innovative and creative ways of improving upon things in a very tough and harsh environment.
