Hard to say megatexture. The bonnet has been the learning curve so ofcourse it's taken longer than normal. But at a rough guess not including drying time, id say 12-15 hours over the last week maybe...

I think my advise is already late, but bottom plastic parts on doors fixed on the plastic anchors and 2 side adhesive tape. Small parts only with tape.
I used strong steel wire to cut the tape.

Has anyone removed the rear barn door handle/number plate light assembly? I remember once having a quick look in there but can't remember if it was an easy removal...
It's pretty straight forward to take off mate.

Ok, have been on holidays for the last 3 weeks and got home and carelessly gave it a buff and burnt through the paint at the same time. So I cracked the sh1ts and removed the bonnet, stripped it down and sprayed it instead.
Edit should have added that I haven't given up, just had enough of the bonnet, what with it being such a large section and hard to reach, especially while on the car. I couldnt do the roll on method while it was unbolted and off the car as I'll need the car to drive so sprayed on was the quickest and easiest option to get it out of the way.
Stay tuned.

I think i will try it also on my GQ. Did anyone of you guys know how to obtain mat (not glossy) aspect on paint? it shall be the paint itself or the varnish (here i don't know if i used the correct word)
