    Been busy this week, mr post man gave me lots of goodies.. VDO pyro and boost gauge, 3" exhaust, carter fuel pump, dawes and needle valve, gauge pod all arrived.. All of it already installed bar fuel punp and already goes heaps better than before.. Boost all setup
    Now just have to put in fuel pump and spill line mod, and also waiting for my series 3 tail lights and new flares for drivers rear as old broken..
    Still un-decided on my lift.. Been thinking about getting another ridepro 3" lift like I had in my last patrol lol

    Hey Fletch, looking good mate,

    What is the Carter Fuel pump? Is that a replacement Diesel fuel pump? I only know the TD42 and a new pump is Massive bud?? Is that what you have done? If so what sort of performance upgrade are you expecting? Could you not just Chip it?
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
    WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

    The carter pump is acting to keep constant fuel pressure to the injector pump.. This was done on my old patrol and made it more responsive and drops the lug point of the motor couple hundred rpm.. I was able to go round a roundabout in 3rd without the engine lugging at all

    Yeah right so basically an inline pump to provide forced pressure to the pump. Nice.

    So after a fair few phone calls today looks like I have decided on the lift kit I will be getting.. 2" Suspension stuff Flexi lift with Procomp shocks and 15mm Spring packers.. Should give me about 2.5" of lift with about the same flex as a 4" lift
