i have a mate whom manufactures extractors. i would like a set for my mq. if anybody has a set that cant be used because of rust etc but are not bent out of shape my mate could use them to make a jig then manufacture them and give us a good deal on them. but needs an old set first . if you can help out contact rick on 0416019455 and i can get the ball rolling.

Im trying to find a GQ Patrol around the early-mid 90's for Under 10k. I have really only just started looking around Perth 2nd hand dealers and have found the usual, a huge variation with some crazy expensive and crazy cheap prices mostly.
If anyone is selling in the Perth area in that price range i would be very keen for some details. Also might pay a little more if the right mods have been done.
Preferably after an Auto 3.0 Diesel Turbo stock.

a pure gas GQ requies a mechanical dizzy for regular sparks
or once upon a time my GQ had an EFIectomy and was given a gas mask
but her wicked stepmotherinlaw owner never gave her the right to vacum advancement
or even an air/fuel ratio screw
A fairygodmother presented her with a new hi compression head that has all the cool exhaust valves
then sold her to us! as a Work horse float truck
she coughed and farted ,blew the airs filter to bits several times till i figured how to richen the mix
that I'll tell you is a bit of a trick!
now her little ECU is feeling quite lonley down by the passangers feet
the throttle positioner is mute, the vacum sensor is sensless the injectors wont listen , no petrol to be hot ,cold ,pressuried or what!
only the the cranky angle sender is going round and round making her dizzy and forgetfull,
not remembering to msg da coil to shoot the sparks out
right when the timing is dead at the center of the top
a modern motoring fairy tail just for u

a real set of points
to put under her bonnet and can get to tune the donk properly

May I suggest you boil your water before drinking it, there seems to be some bugs in it that are doing wierd things to your head!

3.0 turbo diesel did not come out untill 2000 (GU).
GQ had 2.8 turbo diesel but manual gearbox only. Very few 4.2 diesel autos were sold new in Australia and none were turbo.
