For those that aren't familiar with Toughbook's they are a very impressive in terms of how much abuse they are designed for.
As a lot of the tings I do I'm in uncharted territory ,

another interesting build made, are you going to be able to lock the arms as well to prevent them moving around when you're driving?
It won't hurt the toughbook. You can throw them across the garage, punch the touchscreen.
Why a toughbook? What are the specs of the one for this build?
And this video is for those wondering why do they call it a toughbook.

Yeah very simply because the mount has to be solid. The dash itself was a hard place to get a decent mount, thats why i decided to go thru it.
Specs of the toughbook now after I've had my way with it.
Windows 7 ultimate 32bit
1.06 duo core cpu
4096mb ram
120g corsair SSD
More than enough to do gps and all media.
I'll have heap of pics up soon, I'm just waiting for phone to charge.
Bad pics, but you guys can get an idea what I'm doing.
Laptop is touch screen, wifi and gps build in.
How did you go covering the mount?
