I have heard recently, that if your vehicle runs on gas, you have to get the system checked / serviced every 12 months for safety reasons at $150. People don`t seem to be going for gas conversion much now, because of the cost of $150 and the price of gas is going up. A mechanic told me that.
Here is thought. If you have a 4c a litre off shopper docket, you go in to buy fuel and the servo has buy X amount and get 4c a litre off for fuel. Would you get 8c off altogether? It sounds like a dumb question (which it is) and or to good to be true, but it`s just a thought.

Gas was 99.8c/L in Warragul yesterday. What is the point!
Agree with Winnie it has to come to a point where its not worth filling up with gas in comparison to petrol prices .
My last 4x4 was dual fuel never again. @ nearly $1 a litre not for me then there is outback prices,
$10 worth of gas compared to $10 of petrol how far can you go ?
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Early on it made 'cents' to have a gas conversion. At 18 to 20 c/l it only took me 8 months to recoup the cost of the conversion as I was living away from home and doing a 750 km round trip every week, on top of my daily commute. The only way I would have gas on a vehicle now is if it became mandatory or was on it when I bought it. You and your families safety while in the converted vehicle comes down to how good the mechanics who fitted the system are. Believe me, I have seen some shocking workmanship.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
