Unfortunately my actual 1st car was a poo brown 1984 1ltr Austin Metro (UK) and the biggest bag of crap that money could buy, had it for 3 years and failed its MOT with out fail every year due to rust in all the wrong places (which got welded up to pass the MOT's) and broke down constantly...... always had to make sure I parked the car at the top of a hill as the only way to start it was to bump start it. It then became my younger bros first car, I sold it to him for 150 quid............. bargain at half the price hahahahahahahaha
lol, my Metro was exactly the same. Rusty sills, front and rear cross members. Spent my whole time trying to disguise the fact that that they were full of filler to get it through the MOTs! Worse still, I later got a Montego rust bucket. Tried welding that, but the metal was so thin it was impossible. Love the Rover V8s though, had one in my 1973 Rover P6, can't beat the sound! The SD1 was my dream car for a long time!

And while that was being rebuilt/repaired (which equated to about 2 of the 3 years I had it) I'd pinch the old boys G60 with 302 Windsor transplant

Yup, XA supplied the tail lights, seats, motor, trans and centre console. Bluebird donated the steering wheel and switch assy while Rambler supplied the twin headlights

Not sure of the make, as I picked up a few all at the same time - they were all definitely made by HotWheels though!!!! LMFAO!!!

A 1990 Nissan Pulsar Vector - 1.8 litres of unadulterated freedom!!!! For 11 weeks anyway until it was written off ... EDIT: then I bought my first patrol - 1990 4.2 TB42 trayback - that's when the love affair started!! LOL
