So if someone asks me if i have EGR, am i correct in thinking that if my blow by is feeding back into the pre turbo intake, then i "have" EGR?
If i didnt "have" EGR then i would have either blocked it or have a catch can?
Cheers

GU with a few bits and pieces.....
Egr is exhaust gas recirculation. It's a duct which runs from the exhaust to the intake.
People don't remove it as its a road worthy issues to do with emitions control so they blank it off.
The blow by is a smaller rubber tube from the rocker cover which is ducted to the intake.
Many exhaust this to atmosphere threw a catch can.
The cleaner the air going in the better the bang inside..
So to see if you have a blocked egr you need to look for a thin plate inserted between the flanges for the pipe from exhaust to intake..
Hope this helps
