For sale is a complete Rear diff assembly from a GU8 2012 Patrol. Minus brakes and calipers.
This is the original diff from my vehicle, purchased new.
The internal diff lock mechanism was damaged about 6 months ago. The differential functions perfectly as an open diff, however the locker will not stay engaged if switched on. This is due to the sheared teeth on the locking mechanism (long story) which will not stay engaged when under load.
I assume that this is repairable as it is only one component that is causing the issue which you can see from one of the attachments.
Would also require a new gasket seal and some new nuts. (which are cheap and easy to source)
It is from an Automatic 2012 GU8 Patrol - 4.3 ratio.

The diff has been disassembled from the centre to make it easier for transportation but it is not difficult to connect back together.
This would be a good project or challenge for anyone who has some spare time and some mechanical know how.
