Thank you, end approach
Thank you, end approach
Hello,
Milestone awaited a good time, the rest of the body on the chassis. With the scaffolding approach, accuracy and security are there, only problem is missing between 5 and 10cm for it to pass, thus deflating the wheels, load frame (about 200kilos mass tractor and full cinderblock ) and forward rather then backwards in this case.
It's true that it was 7:00 p.m.
Some pictures of the assembly of the body on the chassis.
It pass? or does not pass?
Controlling the alignment of the supports Case
And then it always goes?
there's good had it going on and what happened:
The bride in her veil
The bride without her veil
And here's the beast:
For the moment 1.20m high nose cover, we finish at 11:00 pm.
Following the next round.
Best regards
Petit caillou.

Petit, absolutely fantastic thread! Has given me a new lease on my rebuild. Although I dont think I will be going as far as you, this has given me the inspiration I think I needed to do mine. I have taken my GQ off the market (I was going to sell it and just buy another one) and have started planing the work I need to do to get it back on the road again. That will all start next February.
So thank you for posting this magnificent write up.
Cheers,
Rob
Just about to jump into my next Patrol. A 2001 GU II TB45E .
WARNING!: Do not ever use a towball as a recovery point. They are not rated and can become a deadly projectile during a recovery if they snap off, and they have done so with tragic results in the past.

Hi Rob,
Good luck in your project, You have to take your time,
Think about what you do, take pictures before, during and after. Have some order (put the screws in bags and mark the sources), you have to help you with the instruction workshop, the Nissan FAST but also watch the forums to find information, it must above all be curious and sometimes find less expensive breakdowns solution. I found this project very pleasant to implement.
Best regards
Pierre.
the carpets will come from AU, for sure, I manage for.
wait and see.
best regards

I think you put the steering wheel on the wrong side haha. Awesome work. I just went through a cab change so I know how hard it can be. Love the way you used scaffolding though. great idea.
